Like many vining plants in the Arceane family they look different in their juvenile and mature forms. When they are young its foliage is a silvery pale blueish gray and spear shaped that are accentuated in bright indirect light. As it matures the leaves begin to develop fenestrations and in adulthood

creating a beautiful two-tone effect that stands out in bright indoor light

we purchased this variety from Oregon several years ago and loved it

and when ingested by pets

it's best to keep pets away from the plant

The sturdy stems of Delphina delphiniums do not need to be staked

Starting in early May and continuing through September

Because of its dense foliage and small size

it will be approximately 2-6' both tall & wide

This plant is moderately resistant to damage from deer
