1 villa deste armePoster with painting of the iconic garden of Villa d'Este, Italy. The painting was painted in 1843 by the Swedish artist Gustaf Wilhelm Palm. Villa d'Este is an Italian palace with garden just outside Rome. It was built in the middle of the 16th century and is listed as a World Heritage Site. The trees in the motif are Cypress and can be up to 2000 years old. Cypress oil is used today for breathing difficulties and is very popular in men's perfumes.

The painting was an illustration for the Tale of the moose bull Skutt and the little princess Tuvstarr by Helge Kjellin
