Amphora Blessing Vessel Laura Jer270mm high x 195mm lip diameter Beautifully organic in form, this vessel is handcrafted using the traditional slab and coil ceramic methods. After being hand painted and etched, through a technique called sgraffito, it has been fired twice in the kiln firstly to harden the painting and the clay. Then again to create the lustrous golden interior. Amber Smith is a ceramic artist and printmaker honouring her ties to Ngti Wai through her child. Her words
